NetLogin is an application that authenticates you for EC services, for example Internet or NetAccount printing. You will find this already installed on most computers around the University. If you have your own computer or laptop, you may need to install it to access these services.
Single-user applications are used on systems where there is only one user on a machine at any given time (e.g. You are logged on to your laptop/desktop machine).

Multi-user applications are used on systems where there could be more than one user on a machine at any given time (e.g. you are on to a server, where there might be other users loggged on and running NetLogin).
This supports Windows Server 2003 but not Windows Server 2008.
