Finding help
To get help, you can:
- Browse the site map to find the required information and relevant page.
- Check out the FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) section.
- Check out the EC wiki - it holds a range of articles on services, bugs and features of the EC system.
- Search the University of Auckland site by using the search function (at the top right-hand side of this page).
- In person you can visit the IC Helpdesk or one of the campus help desks.
Guidelines for reporting faults
- Be precise - describe the fault as specifically as possible. Include what you were doing, what happened, what date and time it happened and any error messages.
- Be clear - explain it so others can reproduce the bug.
- Single fault - one fault per fault report.
- No bug is too trivial - small bugs can hide bigger ones.
Reporting faults
- Report a fault via email by sending mail to the IC Helpdesk, make sure to include contact details for yourself (e.g. phone/mobile/email).
- In person you can visit the IC Helpdesk or one of the campus help desks.
